Rock Spring is an 18-hole golf course located in West Orange, NJ. It’s a challenging and enjoyable golfing experience. It has well-maintained conditions and varied hole designs, which allows for great golfing. The most difficult thing about the course is the layout. There are many bunkers and several water hazards starting at the 1st hole. You will want to pay close attention to their placement and factor them into your shot strategy to avoid unnecessary penalty strokes. Rock Spring doesn’t have a driving range; it only includes a putting green, making it challenging to work on your game before playing.
Another worth noting is the higher cost to secure a tee time ranging from 100$ to 120$. If you’re playing with friends, it can cost you upwards of 350$. While the quality of play justifies the cost, if you’re not an experienced golfer, you may not want to pay the price.
Overall, Rock Spring was a great experience, and we would recommend it!
